Yeah I can't see them (the socialites) fighting over dinner with Camilla, though she probably has more in common with them than Diana probably ever did. Sadly there will never be another Diana, I don't think not Kate Middleton will generate quite the same interest as Diana did, she had the something special, more fool the royals for letting her go.

Yeah all but Charles and Camilla turn out for the event apparently they didn't wish to interrupt their holiday at Birkhall. Maybe Camilla said it's either me or the Christening (in order to 'spend more time with her' and he chose her over attending his brother's son's christening. Not a particualary nice gesture but then again we are talking Charles and Camilla.
It seems an unusual picture to send out to celebrate the festive season especially as - in the midst of all the skis, snow and sunglasses - their faces are tricky to pick out.

Yet this is the image the Earl and Countess of Wessex have chosen for this year's Christmas card to their family and friends.

Prince Edward, 43, and his wife Sophie, 42, are pictured standing alongside their acquaintance, tycoon Sir John Ritblat...

In February 2003, Ritblat, the 72-year-old president of the British Ski and Snowboard Federation, offered the royal couple an allexpenses-paid trip to upmarket Swiss ski resort St Moritz in return for their patronage of the organisation.

And the friendship seems to have gone from strength to strength, as the card shows. It features the trio posing with the British ski teams, including Paralympic competitors, at the National Ski Championships in Meribel, France, in March.
There's apparently nothing all that odd about the card...
A source said: "Edward and Sophie usually use a family photograph, although they once used a picture of the Northern Ballet, whom they sponsor."
I think it was brilliant... They're not sending out a photo of them with only Louise when James has already been born and he was born too late to have him in the photo. I'd never even thought of or seen their card until this... Its usually Charles' and Andrew's that entertain the media...

They're normal, successful, polite, and have much more appeal than some of the other royal children who were focused on much more. I hope that Lady Louise and the Viscount Severn can grow up at the Great Park (Edward is to become Ranger after The Duke of Edinburgh) in privacy and normalcy as they deserve. I just hope they don't name him Charlie!!! How awful that would be! I like Frederick, or Oliver. Those are great names.
I'm sure Lady Louise will not be shouldered out of the way because she now has a baby brother. Sophie & Edward adore Louise and are not going to quit loving her just because they now have a new baby who is a boy. They will continue to love her just as much as they always have, and divide their attention equally between the two children just like other parents do. There will undoubtedly be some jealousy issues between Lady Louise & her brother, which her parents will difuse by spending quality time with her, and making her into a BIG SISTER...just like every other good parent on the planet has done when they have more than one child... Sophie and Edward are not going to leave Lady Louise out in the cold, because they now have a son, and it is absurd to think otherwise.
