But I wonder how long it's going to last because it won't take long for people to question why Bea can work on the shop floor full time while Princess Katherine can't work in the offices part time and certain quarters might intervene.

Kate aside though, I hope Bea can stick this out if even only for a month- the experience will be great for her!

How naive of me, I just didn't see it coming but I see it only too clearly now. Someone from somewhere *cough*Clarence House*cough* is envious of the praise Princess Anne's children have been receiving lately and have brought the daggers out.

While it may be a bit uncomfortable Peter and Autumn selling their story and pics for half a million, as far as I am concerned they work and they don't just live off taxpayer money. (OK so while they may have done a horrible job at managing it, I also think Sophie and Edward should never have been banned from working. At some point more junior royals are going to have to be free to earn a living.)

Peter is not HRH and he isn't really expected to take on major if any official royal duties. Whether or not they do the interview, the media will stalk them an invent their own interviews and crash their wedding anyway. As far as I am concerned, I just don't see an issue with them getting paid. If it was Harry or William or even the Yorks I wouldn't approve but if Peter, Zara, Freddy and Bella Windsor and so on want to take advantage of the opportunity to make some money, then I just don't care. The magazines are going to make a fortune off of covering the story anyway.

The money is not an issue for me. The only concern is that once they've done this, the media may see it as open season on them. However as long as they continue to live as ordinarily as they have been to date, I really think that with time any major media interest will wear off.

Oh, erm the article...

[quote]He is 11th in line to the throne and comes from one of the most famous families in the world.

But Peter Phillips was determined he wouldn't marry a girl who simply wanted to be a princess.

In fact, he was so secretive about his royal background, his girlfriend discovered his true identity only when she spotted him on the television six weeks into their romance and promptly looked him up on the internet.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, Canadian-born Autumn Kelly told of her shock at catching a glimpse of her new boyfriend while watching a documentary about Prince William's 21st birthday with her mother.

I don't think the babies have been christened yet. If they have it was a surprisingly quiet affair. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if Grandpa Sir showed up.
I agree Susannah! I think history will reflect very badly on Charles & Camilla, and will give Diana the due she deserved in life and the respect she deserved but didn't get after she died.

And as for justice being served (which this inquest did not achieve in any form), we will never know for sure who had Diana killed, but the ones who caused it -either passively or actively- will have to face their crimes on Judgement Day. Whether or not Charles had anything to do with Diana's death - in any way - we will never know for sure, but we do know, in detail, all the other "crimes" he committed against Diana, and he won't be able to whitewash those away, and I believe he is getting his just desserts right now.

It appears, at least to me, that Charles has not already begun his own personal purgatory for all the wrong choices and actions he's taken, but that he married her!! I think his "marrying" Camilla, not only has proven to be a lifetime sentence worse than prision, it is a punishment he inflicted on himself. Camilla has become his albatross, and she is going to heavily hang around his neck, for the rest of his life.

And as for Camilla's punishment, being forced to SHOCK - WORK - for all the wealth and titles she now has, when for decades all she had to do was be on call for illicit meetings with Charles...I think she is likewise doing time for her own crimes because she is now stuck with Charles for the rest of her life too. Charles & Camilla getting "married" is poetic punishment for this pair of miscreants, for he and Camilla don't seem to be so rosy cheeked happy together, (just the opposite), and I think their "marriage" is tearing them apart from the inside out. The strain has already begun to show on Charles, for in recent photos of him, he looks whipped and far older than his parents...which leads me to believe that at least some form of justice is being met out to him and the rottweiler, for all the heartache and pain and disrespect they put Diana through, both during her lifetime, and after she died...

As for Diana, I hope she is resting in peace, and has been rewarded in Heaven for all the good she did, during her life on Earth...and I hope that wherever she now is, she has found some measure of happiness and acceptance. I miss her, and she will never be forgotten, and all the good she did will not be forgotten either - no matter how hard C&C powers at be try to erase her from history and the Windsor royal tree...

Yes they have. They didn't have them last night or this morning. Then I posted a comment saying they didn't even show her outfit and they're always going on about Kate's and now I see Chelsy's full outfit. I'm not the only one who commented either.

I also commented though that Chelsy and Kate didn't seem to be all that chummy in the pics they offered in that other article but they dont seem to have added any more photos. Guess they couldn't find a way to make them look like they were 'inseparable all day'. Isifa has posted several photos of the event now and still doesn't look like they were inseparable.

There's a really nice outfit (IMO) that Chelsy's wearing. A winter scene, I think maybe in Leeds. There doesn't seem to have been any articles accompanying or justifying taking her photo on that day though- I don't remember ever having seen her in it. It's about 4 or 5 pages in on the isifa site if you search Chelsy Davy and it's a blue and black ensemble. Very continental and chic.

They are trying to say Kate is better. It's just not true. She's no more "smarter" than Chelsy's way of dressing. Just another instance of feed one and starve the other to gain/lose support for one.

In my opinion, They both looked great. If I had to choose though, I'd say CHELSY pulled a more together look. I like both outfits though.

Thank you! I didn't say anything because well I figured I'm not into fashion so what do I know but I thought they looked pretty much the same too! In fact with Kate's jacket open and Chelsy's closed, if anything Kate was more casual!

As to their being inseparable. I highly doubt that. They just sat together. Even the article says that Kate was staring at William while Chelsy was studying. Doesn't sound much like they were chatting their head off! They don't even show photos to back up their story line.8-)

[quote]Grinning with pride, Prince Harry received his first Army campaign medal today as his proud father, brother, aunt and, significantly, girlfriend looked on.

As a sign of the extent to which she has been accepted by the Royal Family, Chelsy Davy was seated alongside Prince William and Prince Charles at the ceremony in Windsor.

She smiled and chatted with William as 170 members of the Household Cavalry Regiment were decorated for their service in Afghanistan.

"While Chelsy was casual in her blue jeans and double-breasted plaid jacket, Kate looked a little smarter in a fitted cropped jacket and dark jeans."

HOW was Kate's look any smarter than Chelsy's? I hardly see a difference!

[quote]For the men it's scarlet shirts, white trousers and tan boots.

And for the ladies watching them there appears to be a unifom too - jeans tucked into knee-high boots, a cropped jacket and large pairs of sunglasses.

There's also one other essential accessory for the royal girlfriend at a polo match on a warm spring day - a cold glass of champagne.
